Two crystalline components I and II were isolated from the roots of Actinidia kolomikta. I was identified as Δ7-stigmasterol and II was named α-kolomiktriose and elucidated as 2, 3-di-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-α-D-galactopyranose on the basis of spectral data (13C NMR, 1H NMR, IR and EI-MS).
