Two new flavonol glycosides viz. 5-hydroxy-7,4'-dimethoxy-8-isoprenylflavone-3-O-β-D-xylopyranoside and 5,7,3',4'-tetra-hydroxy-6,8,2'-trimethoxyflavone-3-O-α-L-rhamnosyl-(1→2)-Oβ-D-glucopyranoside have been isolated from the seeds of Acacia nilotica (Linn). The structure of these glycosides have been established on the basis of chemical and spectral evidences.
