In this paper, we report the structure of the O-specific polysaccharide of the LPS fraction of the strain type NCPPB416 of X. campestris pv. pruni. It is built up of three different monosaccharides glucose, rhamnose and xylose in an intricate block-wise polymer. Herein, the primary structure is elucidated by means of chemical degradation and 2D NMR spectroscopy.
