The tetrahydroanthraquinones (1S,3S)-austrocortilutein (4) and (1S,3S)-austrocortirubin (7) are octaketides formed in the fruit bodies of the fungus Dermocybe splendida via the gentiobioside 2 of the dihydroanthracenone (S)-torosachrysone (1).
