A new acylated pelargonidin glycoside was isolated from the sepals of Pulsatilla cernua. The structure was established as pelargonidin 3-[2''-(2'''-trans-caffeoyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-β-D-galactopyranoside] by spectroscopic methods.
