Five new iridoid glucosides and three new monoterpenoid glucosides were identified from Penstemon albidus, P. cyathophorus and P. virens. Notable among these isolates were conjugates of the monoterpenoids 5,8-dihydroxy-2,6-dimethyloctadienoic acid and 8-oxo-2,6_dimethyloctadienoic acid.
