Investigation of the fruits of Chaenomeles sinensis (Rosaceae) resulted in the isolation of a minor flavonoid. The structure of flavanone glycoside was determined to be as 2-hydroxynaringenin-7-O-β-glucoside on the basis of FAB-MS and spectral evidence, especially by 2D-NMR (1H-1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC and NOESY).
